How I use AI to run My Naples AI Guy.
MyNaplesAIGuy.com is not just a website about AI. It is also a working example of how a small business can use AI to research, write, build, publish, and manage its own growth system.
The website is the first case study
MyNaplesAIGuy.com was built to show Naples business owners what an owned AI growth system can look like in practice. The site explains the workshops, captures leads, publishes content, routes form submissions, and gives people a clear way to understand how AI can support a real local business.
Instead of treating the website as a brochure, I use it as an operating asset. It is a place to test offers, publish proof, document service pages, and connect the public-facing brand to the internal systems that help me follow up with prospects.
AI helps me research and write This Week in AI
Every week, I use AI to help research and draft my LinkedIn newsletter, This Week in AI. The process starts with finding useful AI news, product updates, business use cases, and practical examples that matter to local business owners.
AI helps me sort the research, identify themes, outline the newsletter, and turn rough notes into a first draft. I still bring the final judgment, local context, and point of view. The result is a repeatable content workflow instead of a blank-page scramble.

The CRM, CMS, and content system were built with AI
Behind the scenes, this business uses a lightweight CRM and CMS workflow that I built with AI help. The CRM captures workshop applications and lead details. The CMS supports blog posts, case studies, categories, tags, and publishing workflows. The content system helps plan service pages, newsletters, and practical build notes.
The important part is that the system is owned. It does not require a bloated software stack before the business has proven what it needs. AI helped me move faster, make decisions, write code, generate content structure, and keep improving the site without paying for a pile of tools upfront.
Bootstrapped with just a domain
My Naples AI Guy started with the simplest possible asset: a domain. From there, AI helped turn the idea into a working website, a service offer, a lead intake process, a content workflow, and a public newsletter rhythm.
That is the lesson I want local business owners to see. You do not need to begin with a massive budget or a complicated platform. You can start with an owned domain, a clear offer, practical AI support, and a willingness to build one useful system at a time.
AI did not replace the business judgment. It multiplied the amount of useful work one founder could get done.
What this means for your business
If your business already has a domain, a service, and a few repeatable workflows, you may have more to build with than you think. The next step could be a cleaner website, better lead capture, faster follow-up, a simple CRM, a content engine, or a weekly newsletter your customers actually want to read.
My job is to help you find the useful starting point, build it inside accounts you own, and leave you with a system your team can understand.
